Hi!
I am Lloyd and I live together with my dear partner Bettina. We are 33 and 43 years old and live in a beautiful old house with a big back yard in Enschede. That is in the eastern part of The Netherlands. We have both been keeping busy with exploring our interests and feelings within the diverse world of spirituality, metasciences, alternative treatments and life philosophies.
By now we have enjoyed several courses. These are: Kinesiology, Touch for Health 1, Reiki 1, a meditation training and two different courses in Crystal therapy. And we are not done by a long shot!
We would love to one day create a place where we can not only help people and animals by using the knowledge we have gained through the years, but also pass on this knowledge to others.
Next to this we are also very interested in self sustainability. We already grow some vegetables (in our annually growing veggie garden), and we have three chickens that give us eggs (and pleasant company :-)
At the moment I am also busy making a rainwater storage. A 1000 litre tank which, when filled with water we will use to water the garden and the veggie garden in dry times. We also make our own compost.
Additionally we have a little orchard with apples, pears, plums and cherries and a fruit garden (with al sorts of berries).
Oh...and we have also started with the Square Foot Garden system this year. When successful we will probably replace the entire Veggie Garden with this system.
Last March we have started attending a Beginners Beekeeping Course. We do this to support the bee population as they have had serious problems the past year(s), and in the mean time they can of course pollinate our fruits and vegetables as well. More on this later when we have our hive "up and running".
As you can see we are (just like you perhaps) constantly developing ourselves and we would like to share this with you.
